Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions piano lessons 2020-2021

  • With your registration, you agree with the terms and conditions.
  • With your registration, you agree with our privacy statement, which can be found on our website (in Dutch).
  • The registration is only completed after confirmation of your payment.
  • Next to the regular lessons every semester there are an “inspiratieweek” (inspiration week) and a student concert. The inspiration weeks contain workshops, concert visits, et cetera. You need to sign up for the inspiration weeks and the student concerts. These activities are included in the tuition of the subscriptions (MEZZO)PIANO, (MEZZO)FORTE and TUTTI.
  • When the teacher is sick or absent the missed lesson will be rescheduled or there will be a substitute teacher.
  • Refund of the tuition is not possible in any case.
  • The schedule contains the holidays and national holidays, on which there will be no lessons. It is possible that rescheduled lessons will take place during the holidays.
  • The teaching practice can review the tuition and terms and conditions annually. The changes will be announced four weeks before the end of the season.

Additional conditions (MEZZO)PIANO, (MEZZO)FORTE, TUTTI en INTENSIVE beginnerscursus:

  • When you cancel your registration up to a month before the start of the lessons, you will be charged with 150 euros as a cancellation fee. When you cancel later you have to pay the costs for the whole semester.
  • Payment details will be sent every semester. When taking classes weekly, it is possible to pay every quarter.
  • If we haven’t received the payment after two reminders, we will charge 10 euros administration fee and a debt collection agency will be called in.
  • There is a fixed time for your lessons. You are expected to be there every week or every other week.
  • When you miss a class (for whatever reason) you can’t reschedule or get your money back. You can, however, interchange with another student.

Additional conditions (MEZZO)PIANO, (MEZZO)FORTE en TUTTI:

  • You register for a whole season of lessons.
  • The season contains 36 lessons (when taking classes weekly) or 18 lessons (when taking classes every other week).
  • The season is divided into two semesters: August 30, 2020 until January 30, 2021 and February 1, 2021 until July 12, 2021.
  • Inflow after the season is possible. You won’t have to pay for the lessons you missed.
  • Cancelling your lessons is possible after every semester, if you announced that by e-mail six weeks before the new semester starts. If you cancel later you are obligated to pay the tuition for the next semester.

Individual lessons (“5-card”)

  • The student receives a voucher for five lessons.
  • The voucher will be valid for five months, the summer holidays excluded.
  • When the student wants to have more than five lessons, another voucher can be purchased.
  • Payment details will be sent for every voucher.
  • After receiving the payment the lessons can be scheduled.
  • Individual lessons are scheduled in consultation with the teacher. Preferably, the five lessons are scheduled all at once.
  • In every teachers schedule there is a fixed time for individual lessons. Preferably, the individual lessons are scheduled at this time.
  • Next to that lessons can be scheduled on free moments in the teacher’s agenda. These moments can only be claimed one week in advance.
  • A scheduled individual lesson can be rescheduled for free by the student up until one week in advance.
  • Online lessons: the student is responsible for its own quality internet connection, camera and sound.
